As a service -- and for
a small charge -- you can receive printed
copies of Experience in a Book: Help for the XJ-S Owner or
a diskette with an electronic
version of the document.
Note that the original MS Word 6
file of this book is available to download free of charge
on the World Wide Web at:
http://gcn.scri.fsu.edu/~palmk/jaguar.html
(US)
http://home.sn.no/home/nick/xjsbook.html
(Norway)
Those who get the book are welcome to copy or print it for their
friends and fellow Jaguar owners. I request that changes,
comments, corrections, additions and updates be sent to
me so we can all benefit.
Printed Copies
To receive a printed copy of
this book, send US$15 to the
author plus US$1 for Canada or US$2 for other countries outside
the USA postage. It is mailed as a loose bundle of pages; the
recipient can provide a loose leaf binder if desired.
Note that this is not a small pamphlet; currently, the book is
more than 170 pages when printed with a 10-point proportional font,
and includes quite a few illustrations and schematics. It grows
constantly as more information becomes available.
Electronic Copies
To receive an MS-DOS diskette
with the Word 6.0 for Windows file, or (thanks to Derek Hibbs) a
Windows Help file version of the book, send US$7 plus US$1 for
Canada, US$2 for other countries outside the USA to
the author. Be sure to give your
name and address and specify which file format (MS Word or Windows
Help) is preferred.

This book is corrected and updated
constantly. If you have learned something about your Jaguar that the
rest of us should know, please write, call or send a message to the

If you have a question I may be able to help with, you are welcome
to call me at the above number. Please don't call before noon on
weekends or holidays.
Since this book is updated continually, an owner who already has a
copy may benefit from ordering or downloading a new one
occasionally.
Kirby's XJ-S Experience in a Book was
converted to HTML by
Vaughan Bromfield. Any
issues regarding the format of the web pages should be directed to
Vaughan.
Donations
I only charge a small fee for
printed or diskette copies of this booklet to cover costs of copying
and postage; those who download it from the
Internet get it for free, as do people who
obtain copies from others or from their clubs.
However, all this doesn't mean that I am adverse to donations!
If you feel the book has been of some help, you are more than
welcome to send whatever you feel is appropriate. It has been
suggested that each reader send one half of what they save on their
first repair, but that might be asking too much -- I expect I'd be a
rich man very soon!
