Introduction
The Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place each year in the grounds of Goodwood house near Chichester in West Sussex, UK. First run in 1993, it is the place to be if you have any interest in fast cars. This year, Jaguar are the featured marque so it's difficult to move without tripping over one - they are even in the air above you! These pics are virtually all Jaguar related (just a couple of Thrust SSC ones added in) and are the best of the 300+ I took on the Thursday (not a public day for the main event but everyone is setting up) at the Brooks auction and during the Friday.
There are a total of 164 images here across five pages, mostly of static cars (I'll leave action shots to the experts although there is a picture of the R1 being pushed!). No individual picture explanations but they should all be self evident. There are also pictures from the 1998 FOS event, as well as from the first 1998 Goodwood Revival Meeting. We also have some videos from past meetings.
All photos taken with a Sony DSC-D770 @ 1344 x 1024 pixels. Reprocessed for the web with auto thumbnails using Paint Shop Pro 6 and Vimas Web JPEG Plug-in, Version 3.0.
