Typical S-Type Keys

Jaguar S-Type Keys

Typical Brit car keys from the 60s

The top row of keys are the same two keys, showing the reverse side.

One side says WILMOT BREEDEN, the other showing MADE IN ENGLAND and UNION

Typical key numbers were also FS FT, a whole range of them. They are easily available in Britain.

On the S-Type (according to the handbook) the round head was the ignition and doors, while the oblong was for boot (trunk) and glove box. It would be very easy to make the barrels all the same key. The lower set are the spares. All of these are origianl to the car.

Oddly enough, my key number is nearly the same as my car reg number.
