Casey Olsthoorn's 1936SS The car was imported into California in 1990 from Chilie, the man who bought it thought he had bought an SS 100. When he got the car he disappointed, parked the car in the corner of his garage and unfortunately passed away in 1995: I bought it from his wife in 1996. Who, when, where the conversion was done nobody knows! I have been told that it has been done some time in the eighties but am not sure. I have been tinkering with it of and on; the body work was finished but a lot of the mechanics had to be redone or finished. I have had a windshield frame made, replaced the brakes, wheels splines (were bad), tires, SS gauges (one was missing), shocks, breakers, etc, etc. The chassis # is 11429 and the engine is a 2.5 litre Mark IV #P745. The body is made out of steel and all of the parts with the exception of engine is from a 1936 SS, even the one piece exhaust manifold.
