Upholstery - Golf DoorHi to all, Sorry to keep on firing these upholstery questions, but that is where I am. I am working on the upholstery on the "hinged panel", the panel that opens between the cab and the trunk (boot). The panel that I am stripping down (I believe it is original material) had a seperate piece of Hardura on either side of the wood panel with a thin strip of vinyl covering the top and side edges. The replacement part supplied by Bartlett is a single piece of Hardura which their book shows in a "n" shape wrapped over the top of the wood panel. They supplied a thin strip of vinyl, enough to cover the three edges exposed. I do not believe what Bartlett has supplied is correct and would be grateful if I could get some confirmation. Thans in advance Neville Laing Neville, The orginial Golf door on my car used a single piece of hardura along with a single strip of vinyl. I will have to look to see how it wraps as to whether it wraps along the top or bottom. I think top but won't know till I look! The Bartlett part was correct for my car. Your car is early enough that the door could have been different. Cleo Bay XK120, XK140 Thanks for responding to this question, if anyone else has had a chance to look this weekend, I would appreciate your input. Neville Laing The original panel on my car has Bound Edge Hardura on the boot side and moquette on the cabin side and edges. Colour to match the trim. Col Haywood XK150s OTS
