Wiring Diagrams

Wiring Diagrams

Does anyone have a copy of the reputedly excellent instructions from Rhode
Island Wiring for installing an XK120 wiring harness - someone who is
willing to share it with a fellow who hasn't got the first clue about where
to begin because he bought his car with the old harness stuffed in a feed
bag? The harness project won't be tackled until next year, but having those
instructions tucked away would be one less thing to think about.

Thanks!

You might try Coventry Auto Components, Unit 4, Off Torrington Avenue,
Coventry CV4 9UY. Tel 44 1203 471217.
They publish excellent bound wiring diagrams for ewach individual model
priced at 9 Pounds (when I bought mine). Their electrical catalog is also
good.

Nick,
I have the original XK120/Mk7 workshop manual. There are plenty of wiring
diagrams in there. You can have a copy from the one for LHD, with
indicators, export market send by fax. Let me know if you want it. You
really need a pair of spectacles if you want to follow the lines. But it is
pretty accurate and last not least very original. As a Jag restorer you
won't wire your XK after an easy to read American knocked off diagram when
you can have the original hard to read Heath Robinsons edition from
Coventry, printed on prewar machines. Am I right?
